This is a shop selling Italian pasta. I bought a box of ravioli and a bag of tortellini. They look fresh and delicious. This shop is located in downtown Manhattan, close to the Little Italy. The staff are nice and the price is reasonable. Besides freshly made pasta products, there are also sauces, and packaged stuff for purchase.

My new favorite spot & a go-to for affordable, easy-to-make Italian. The pasta, sauces, and mozzarella were exquisite and I can't sing enough praises of the freshness of the pasta! The shop workers looked delighted to work there and made conversation with each customer - it brightened my day!

Great spot for Italian goods and food. I picked up some lunch and supplies to carbo load for the NYC Marathon. They didn't have the chestnut bread pudding but i guess it's seasonal. I will be on the lookout for that. Outstanding customer service and family oriented establishment. Definitely a throw back and why they are still operational.

Made dinner with Wild Mushroom Ravioli I bought at the store. Ravioli is seasoned so well that I could eat it as is even without any sauce. 1lbs is good enough for three meals for a couple. If I’d go back to the store, I’d like to mix and match some other flavors to try them out.

On 9/21, we walked in a said “Hello” as most people do. The young female behind the counter was extremely rude and unprofessional. She threw our order on the counter and walked away. I guess it was my age and/or race, but that is her problem.The pasta she gave us was moldy and slimy - be careful what you give to people and how you treat them because if we ate this and got sick…

This store is an absolute treasure with fresh, authentic products and surprisingly affordable prices. Places like Raffetto's are why I moved to and love living in NYC. My favorites are the pastas, frozen raviolis and Italian sausage. Also that round bread loaf with the seeded top. Awesome!

3/30/2023, Thurs: - From Raffetto's, known for pasta and located on Houston St just east of 6th ave on Macdougal St in NYC, I took out about 2 lbs of ravioli, 1 set was whole wheat with goat cheese filling and the other regular wheat with a seafood lobster stuffing. Both were delicious and freshly made and an excellent deal, and paired well with a farm to table fresh garlic, scallion, mushroom, tomato, leafy green vegetable, dish with broth and evoo. They offered the pasta in a box with the ravioli separated by sheets of paper, but I took it out in my stainless steel restaurant container. This is a 4th+ generation family business dating back to around 1906, and all the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and helpful. They are starting to experiment in upcoming months with many varieties of gluten-free pasta including from legumes and beans, but still offer a variety of wheat and whole wheat pasta. I stored the extra ravioli not boiled in the freezer in my glass weck jars to save for another day.
